Marisa Akemi Nakamura was born and bred in the city of Chicago, IL. She devotes herself to the ripe enchantments of her surroundings and is obsessed with her charmed life. If she has learned anything in her 31 years of living it’s that she hardly knows a speck of what she hopes to. Everyday she wakes up imagining herself as a rooted rhizome ready to spring forth, slowly but surely crafting an essence of wispy whirls.
