Lauren Abedini
Lauren Abedini, better known as KITTENS, has spent over a decade carving out space where music, culture, and creativity intersect. Raised on the outskirts of Los Angeles, Lauren came up in the city’s nightlife scene and quickly earned a reputation as a tastemaker in dance music. As a queer, Iranian-American woman, her experience fuels her commitment to building platforms where others who feel overlooked can be seen and celebrated. Her podcast SHE/HER/THEY brings guests like Demi Lovato, Kehlani, Sarah Shahi, and Alexandra Shipp into candid conversations about identity, gender, and creativity. Her DJ workshop series PWR offers women and gender-expansive people a supportive space to explore creative paths and claim their place in the industry.
