Karan Brar

Karan Brar is a multidimensional performer whose career spans film, television, and theater. He currently stars as Maneesh in Data, now in its second run Off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre following its world premiere at Arena Stage — a major milestone marking his theatrical and leading man debut.
Brar made history at Disney Channel as the network's first Indian series regular on Jessie and its spinoff Bunk'd, while also becoming one of the youngest directors initiated into the DGA. His screen credits include the Diary of a Wimpy Kid trilogy, Pacific Rim: Uprising, Hubie Halloween, and voice work in Family Guy and Solar Opposites, among others.
A first-generation Indian-American raised in Bothell, Washington, Brar serves on the advisory board of The Cameron Boyce Foundation in honor of his late best friend. He is now based in New York City.
