Maya Kotomori
Maya Kotomori is a writer and semiprofessional fashion know-it-all based in Brooklyn, NY. Hailing from the desert-y suburbs of SoCal, Maya's pathological obsession with clothing and style is informed by two things: the dusty sophistication of the Inland Empire rubes of her hometown, and the year 1994. In addition to a brief tenure as a social justice warrior during the completion of her BA at NYU Gallatin, Maya earned an MA in Film and Media Studies at Columbia though she's only watched 14 movies to completion. Enthralled by opulence and fueled by unartistic boredom, her writing centers normal people and how glamour affects us all, both on and off screen.
